This is a well written story about two middle aged people with emotional baggage. He is sweet and caring and she has learned how to hide all emotions under a very strong wall. Having two kids in college and a ex who left her for yes the younger, hotter, version she deals the only way she knows how to clossing off herself to emotions and jumping two feet and all her energy into work. This was a beautifully written story about a woman who has had some rough times in life and hardened her heart. She meets a man who lights her up inside but will she thaw her heart to let him in? The characters are wonderful. I love the banter between Winter and her family.
