Enjoyed their story

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Winter is an average woman who just cannot find it in her to thaw the ice around her heart. She has an ex that is horrible, a salon to try to keep in check and a family that is one of a kind. Winter does not have time for anything else. Shaun makes all the difference in her world. He is exactly what she has been missing and needs in her life. Good Book

This is the 1st book I've read written by Candice Gilmer; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.I loved the characters.I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

overcoming barriers

This is a well written story about two middle aged people with emotional baggage. He is sweet and caring and she has learned how to hide all emotions under a very strong wall. Having two kids in college and a ex who left her for yes the younger, hotter, version she deals the only way she knows how to clossing off herself to emotions and jumping two feet and all her energy into work. When something goes wrong she turns to this sweet and kind man whom teaches her life is worth feeling.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

A wonderful small town romance

This was a beautifully written story about a woman who has had some rough times in life and hardened her heart. She meets a man who lights her up inside but will she thaw her heart to let him in? The characters are wonderful. I love the banter between Winter and her family.
